She wants to be like me

Lexie in a Snow White Costume

Lexie’s Drawing

For the 10 readers out there, this is my youngest daughter, Lexie.  Don’t let the smile deceive, she is all about getting things her way.  She entered my life on July 13, 2002 at 3:30am.  I don’t think I have slept very soundly since (just joking!).  As you can see, she loves Snow White, lipstick and all!

Two weeks ago, she came home with this picture in her Dora backpack.  The assignment was to draw a picture of what you want to be when you grow up.  I have heard it once said that imitation is the truest form of flattery.  If she really wants to be like me, than I have to become more and more like Jesus!

    Todd,

Sure hope that picture is of her and not you. Never seen you with that much lipstick.

    Thanks for brightening my day.

    Pastor Todd,

We love it when you share things about your children and your life! We usually attend 8:20, but sometimes 9:40, and we so enjoy your teaching! You are a blessing to us! Thank you! Tom & Colleen Kearney

Enjoying your blog- just so you know there are more readers out here. Thanks for keeping in touch- my sister used to go to McLean Bible, and Lon Solomon is quite the preacher and pastor. Love the pictures- that one needs to be saved for sure.

lately i’ve been reminded that i’m getting older, i’m only 26 but listening to teenagers talking with no worries reminds me when i was like that. and now i actual look forward to reading about what my pastor has to say (blog) on any night of the week. just another reminder. the point i’m trying to make is you have another reader. anyways, the neighborhood lawn boy must of went out of business do to high gas prices and my grass is almost 2 feet tall so if your looking for any part time work let me know.
