Vacation Bible School at Mount Ararat

June 24th, 2008 by Todd

This week our church and children’s ministry is loving the kids of Stafford through Vacation Bible School.  The best way we can love these kids is with the gospel of Jesus.  Susan Wanderer, our minister to children, sent me this prayer request email.  It is time for you to get spiritually involvedStart praying for these kids, right now.  God is at work!

Hey Yall,

A few things that I would love for you to pray about this week.

  1. We have another little girl (almost 6 years old) who is coming (her being here this week is a LONG story, but a God one!).  She is from a single parent home and is completely intrigued by Jesus… especially in hearing the two Bible stories this week.  Please pray for this family and this little girl.  She is asking one question after another… so great, such child-like faith.  It’s exciting to talk to a child about Jesus and know that they are truly hearing about Him for the first time!  Can you remember the first time you heard the name Jesus?!

  2. ABC Salvation Days are Wednesday and Thursday (depending on when the Bible Leader does this).  Please pray for our Bible Leaders as they are talking to these kiddos about Jesus and Salvation.

We have LOTS of un-churched kiddos here this week… so amazing… such opportunity! J

Love to yall!

Susan

VBS was wonderful! I especially enjoyed Family Night. Is was such a blessing to see all those folks sitting around on the grass on the Toluca Road side. God is always at work…people just adapted to the new construction stuff and sat around enjoying God’s provisions for us. He DOES have a plan and He is at work sharing that plan with us! Thanks for a great liadership team that seeks out new ways to reach people!

About Mount Ararat Blog

Worshipping with us on Sundays is a great place to start. Let me also encourage you to connect with a small group which can be instrumental in making new friends and developing your faith. These classes meet during all three worship hours at the Mount.

On your next visit, be sure to take advantage of all the great opportunities you will find at the Mount for you and your family to grow spiritually.

I hope to see you soon at the Mount!
