At Camp Crossroads this week

July 8th, 2008 by Todd

Sorry for the delays in my blog this week. I am with a group of 36 from Mount Ararat down here on the campus of Gardner Webb University for Camp Crossroads.http://www.crossroadsworldwide.com/   I have not been back to youth camp since I stopped serving in our Student Ministry back in Summer 2004. I know it is only a day and half, but this has been a great trip so far. I love being on a trip like this where I am not the one in charge, and so I can just get to know the 8 guys under my watch along with getting to know the rest of the group. It took us a little over 7 hours to get here by bus (yuck), but we were greeted here by cheers of all the camp staff. The extra blessing for me is that four of our previous kids in student ministry are here serving on the camp Crossroads staff. Way to go Meghan Gillis, Rory Tyer, Jason Cizdziel, Laken BuckmasterBe praying for me as I am a camp dad this week. God is already speaking to our group as well as to my heart.

I cannot wait until Sunday. I have been praying for you church!   I will share more in the coming days. I will send some picture from Camp Crossroads.

About Mount Ararat Blog

Worshipping with us on Sundays is a great place to start. Let me also encourage you to connect with a small group which can be instrumental in making new friends and developing your faith. These classes meet during all three worship hours at the Mount.

On your next visit, be sure to take advantage of all the great opportunities you will find at the Mount for you and your family to grow spiritually.

I hope to see you soon at the Mount!
