Sorry for the delay in my blog this week.  I was a little busy connecting with our incredible teenagers.  God is leading these kids to change the world.  After spending a week with this group, I believe it even more!

Calling all campers out there, get on this blog and share your story!

I love you, and I am praying for you.

God really worked in the youth of Mount Ararat this past week at Crossroads. It was truly amazing to see our group, that is usually so large, come together and really connect with each other. Amongst all of the amazing worship, wonderful sermons, and hilarious free time moments God really showed me that I need to surrender everything to him and bring a passion for Him everywhere that I go. One night, or should I say early morning, my roommate Leighanne Harper and I were up chatting away about various things and we started talking about how we need to hold each other more accountable and how we really want our youth group to be a tighter bunch, especially the girls. So then we began to bounce ideas off of each other and God revealed to us a group that we are going to be starting. It is called Girls Just Wanna Have F.U.N.(fellowship.unity.now). It’ll be a time when girls(9th-12th grade) come together in someone’s home and are able to truly open up and tell each other about their struggles and their lives but also a time of fun and excitement. We want to bring the girls in our church and our community closer together. We’re still brainstorming ideas but we really feel lead to do this and we’re both really excited. Please pray for the group that God would work in it and that it would solely be for His glory.

    have a great day:)

About Mount Ararat Blog

Worshipping with us on Sundays is a great place to start. Let me also encourage you to connect with a small group which can be instrumental in making new friends and developing your faith. These classes meet during all three worship hours at the Mount.

On your next visit, be sure to take advantage of all the great opportunities you will find at the Mount for you and your family to grow spiritually.

I hope to see you soon at the Mount!
