Mount Ararat, we have been talking about building for years.  I know I have heard the conversation for the past 6 years.  We have been praying, planning, and now we are building.  It sure takes time.  This past January (2008), our site work was underway in full force.  Our property has changed drastically in the past six months.  Now that the steel has arrived, the building, for the first time, is taking shape.

Last Tuesday, I took my camera, and I walked the grounds to survey the change.  As I walked through the future people street, and then turned into the future education space my heart leapt.  As I looked up at the raw steel framing of the future space, I could finally visualize the two new large teaching rooms to be used for children and students.  Do you realize what this new space is going to allow us to do in reaching and teaching the next generation?  What a statement we are making as a church at this hour!

Our church is not brick and morter, but by building we are declaring that our money and time are worth investing in God’s Kingdom.  Keep praying!  Keep giving!  Keep loving and keep reaching!  God is at work!
