FULFILLING THE
PROMISE

| Dear Pastor Todd,
I want to introduce you to Obadiah. Obadiah first came to Harvesters when he was just four months old; very tiny and very sick since his mother had died and his father was unable to care for him. Even the doctors in the local hospital did not believe that he would live. After taking him to our chapel and praying over him, Obadiah’s illness went away. With God’s blessing, he is now a happy and healthy 5 year old boy with many unique qualities. He is a serious soul, one who peers through his eyes as if seeing the years to come. Yet at the same time, he is a typical 5 year old; a collector of things, fun and energetic. His little feet like to dance on Sundays to the drums and he enjoys clapping during worship service. He has a very strong voice, he loves to sing and make people laugh. One of Obadiah’s favorite activities is to travel with Pastor Pooshani into the villages as she ministers to our church’s home cell groups. Obadiah’s job? He leads the singing with the children’s home cell groups! We know that Obadiah will do great things in the years to come ~ he will truly be a man of God.
As we embark on the second year of our FULFILLING THE PROMISE Campaign, we need your help. This campaign is a call to invest in the lives of those we serve in Sudan. As the Lord declares in Jeremiah 29:11, He plans to prosper us and plans to give us hope and a future. That is OUR promise to those we serve, like Obadiah ~ a hope and a future filled with the blessings of God’s kingdom. Take a few minutes and review the information below. Our sponsorship program has many opportunities to enrich the lives of our orphans, our school children, our widows and our teachers.

Harvesters’ Sponsorship Program
 For our orphans, your gift helps pay for their care, shelter, food, clothing and medical needs. For our teachers, your gift helps pay for their salaries and continuing education. For our widows, your gift helps pay for their salaries, housing, clothing, food and medical care. For students, your gift helps pay for their textbooks, uniforms and meals.
Classroom sponsorship: $3,000 per year ($250 per month)
Widow sponsorship: $1,200 per year ($100 per month)
Teacher sponsorship: $900 per year ($75 per month)
Orphan sponsorship: $360 per year ($30 per month)
