We are two and a half days into our week long prayer journey in the special prayer tent that is set up on the backside of the property. I have been so blessed in being in the presence of God with many of my brothers and sisters in Christ. I have witnessed a variety of our people, and groups coming in at the various hours. I sense God’s closeness everytime I enter in the tent. This morning, my heart woke up my body long before the alarm sounded. I could not wait to get to the tent!
If you have not had the blessing yet to come pray at our different hours, the good news is it is not too late. Whatever you do, do not miss out on what God is doing in the heart of our church. I realize you might have to adjust to prior commitments, but I speak from a personal place. It is so worth it!
If you have attended so far, please share your thoughts

During my morning devotion, I was reading in Isaiah 56:5-8 “‘I will set up within my temple and my walls a monument that will be better than sons and daughters…I will set up a permanent monument for them that will remain. As for foreigners who become followers of the Lord and serve him, who love the name of the Lord and want to be his servants—all who observe the Sabbath and do not defile it, and who are faithful to my covenant. I will bring them to my holy mountain; I will make them happy in the temple where people pray to me. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar, for my temple will be known as a temple where all nations may pray.’ The sovereign Lord says this, the one who gathers the dispersed of Israel: ‘I will still gather them up.’” I enjoyed the fact that the House of God was associated with prayer, and also the fact that it included more than just God’s chosen people. It included ‘foreigners who become followers of the Lord…for my temple will be known as a temple where all nations may pray.’” Thank God for loving and accepting us sinners, knowing that we can come boldly to His throne room of Grace! The “House of God” needs to have prayer as the prominent ingredient. Thank God for Mt. Ararat! See you at the tent!
Does the tent really have to go after this week?
The prayer tent was a place of peace and ’separation’, a place where I could leave the world for a few moments and just drink in Living Water–a great blessing. Phil. 4:6-7 is on my heart this week: “Don’t worry about anything, instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he’s done. Then you will experience God’s peace…” What a promise!!
Thank you to all who made the prayer tent possible.
