I know there has been a little buzz about the movie Fireproof. This is a movie made by the same church that made Facing the Giants. It opens tonight September 26 at Regal Cinemas at Aquia. It is a rainy day so go enjoy this movie with a Christian theme. I believe you will be encouraged through the message. In supporting movies like this encourages Hollywood to make more movies with these messages.

I’m heading to see that movie in about an hour!
Hope things are going well in Virginia! Miss yall
This movie is a MUST SEE dont wait till it comes out on DVD pay the money it is so worth it, you will pee your self laughing and cry and cry. You cant help but see your self man or woman in this revolutionary movie. And when it does come out on DVD buy it for yourself and all those you know who are married or considering it. It has already changed our movies – let me rephrase that Jesus spoke throught that movie and took us to the next level in our marriage.
I meant chaged our marriage and our choice of movies to.
My husband and I saw the movie. I was so pleased to see the theatre packed on a Friday night for a Christian movie. It turns out that one of the local churches sponsored their members’ to attend. There wasn’t a dry eye in the theatre. VERY POWERFUL movie. Many couples stuggle alone and isolated in this same situation. I’d like to see Mt Ararat really take a stand for marriage and extend real support to struggling couples.
Every married couple and all teenagers should go see this movie. Too many marriages end in divorce because of selfishness and pride. This movie contains some profound statements and illustrations that will encourage you to honor your vows and fight for your marriage.
As we learned this week in our 40 Days of Community study, love is a command, a choice, a conduct, and a commitment. These concepts are demonstrated clearly in the movie – interestingly, through 40 days of “love dares”. I don’t think “40 days” is a coincidence. If we desire to live in God’s will, we absolutely must learn what love is all about, and I believe God wants to use 40 Days of Community and Fireproof to teach us.
My husband and I saw the movie as well. It was pretty amazing and I loved the fact that we saw such a movie in a public movie theater. We were surrounded by a lot of Christians, all coming from different walks of life an different churches. The movie is good for all couples, regardless of how good your marriage is, this is a reminder that your vows are always something worth fighting for. It was a good reminder that if we allow Christ to do things through us, the results can be so much better than if we try to do things on our own.
Wow, what a Powerful Movie! I saw this movie with my 18 year old daughter, she
plans to see if they can get a private showing at Liberty University so the entire campus will benefit from its message. I was excited to see a theater full of Christians and Non Christians alike as Christ touched their heart with His awesome truths.
Being a victim of divorce myself I know first hand the pain and agony the charters were
going through. I truly believe God is trying to heal our Nation and HE is using every tool He can to reach us. So reach all and tell everyone you know about this movie married couples, teens and those engaged to be married. God will truly bless them all.
FYI, The Love Dare is a real book and can be purchased on Amazon.com for a very reasonable price for anyone who wants to get a copy.
