This past Saturday, our church participated in a FREE CLOTHING give away to bless the people of Stafford County. As we moved closer to the event, I became a little more skeptical in how it was going to come together.
- I was blown away at the attendance of this event (800-1,000 people)
- I was blown away by our teams of volunteers who served and loved each person and family!
- I was blown away by the way our volunteers entertained the kids (clowning, food, games)!
- I was blown away by the life groups who made sandwiches!
- I was blown away in how the clothes disappeared from the racks and tables in 3 short hours!
- I was blown away in how the church came together to demonstrate the love we have found in Jesus!
NOW IT IS TIME TO HEAR YOUR STORY:
Reaching out to our community is definately the right thing to do. I am pleased to see that we continue to be a church that displays love and caring for others by reaching outside of our church walls.
