What are some assumptions we make about church and money?

• The church and pastor are after my money.
• This is a big church, and it has plenty of money.
• Everything appears to be working fine, so I don’t need to give.
• There are lots of rich people in this church that give.
• My gift is too small to make a difference.
• I am stuck financially, and there is no way I can give.
• More money would make people content.
• I am not a member, so I don’t have to give anything.
