Part of the frustation of this week is we lost our modem to run our DSL.  What we thought would be a 24 hour fix has turned into a possible two week fiasco.  With all this incredible technology at our finger tips, makes waiting that much more difficult.  I can still remember back not too many years ago where we didn’t have the internet, and now we cannot go a day without it.

I should appreciate the time out from it, but all I can do is think of all the people who are waiting for a reply.  I feel helpless (wow, that sounded like an addiction or at least a confession).

So as we journey to Easter, may I be reminded of God’s Word,

“Be still and know I am God…” Psalm 46:10.  That verse was outside of Mount Lebannon Retreat Center in Cedar Hill, Texas.  That take me back to my youth group days as a new Christian.  I guess God is trying to show me it is time to slow down and listen.

    Todd,
Dosen’t God work in neat ways. With not having the computer for a few days I know how that must have been so frustrating. But it is good you can step back and say okay God what is it you want me to learn or be still and hear you say. I know if I leave my cell phone at home going to work I am lost all day. Several years ago I drove from GA to Texas through the night every comple of months and had no cell phone and never thought anything about it. It is nice to step back and just get away from all the communication we are bombarded by and be still and listen to God.
    Happy Easter!
