This past week, we began a new series, UNDERCOVERS: Building Intimacy in Marriage. We read the verse where the woman is longing for a kiss from her husband.
“Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth–for your love is more delightful than wine.” Song of Songs 1:2
I ran across this article from a health magazine, so Husbands and Wives, you now have more reasons to pucker up!
Kissing may be good for your Health (“Kiss me please” – Health Magazine, October 2002 p.196)
- Kissing relieves stress by releasing mood elevating endorphines in the brain.
- It burns two calories per minute — and could lead to more exercise.
- It firms the muscles in your face (cheaper than a facelift!).
- Swapping saliva boosts your immune system by helping the body bolster its defenses.
- It’s fun!

Did you see ABC news at 11:30 last night, Thursday? There was an interview with a well-know Catholic man–sorry, didn’t catch the name, who writes books and leads marriage seminars celebrating Solomon’s sexual marriage advice.
