Ahh, I can still hear that 90’s chorus in my head of “My love, my love, my love, my endless love!”  There is something within all of us that wants love to last forever. 

Remember that time within boys and girls where they move from ooooo gross, to woah hey you!  If you lean in and look at their love notes to each other, you might see a sketch of you + me = love forever!!!!  How long will forever really last?  Will it be one week, two tops? 

Even within our wedding ceremonies, we include language like “til death do us part”.  We want forever love.

“For love (Ahabah) is as strong as death, its jealousy (relentless devotion) unyielding as the grave.  It burns like a blazing fire, like a mighty flame.” Song of Songs 8:6

“God is love.  Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:16

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39

God has given us Endless Love in Jesus!  We can receive it and give it!
