Last night I found out that my dear friend lost his 22 year old son in a car accident. I met Andy's son, Buddy Collision in 2005 when Andy invited me into their home to share a meal together when I was traveling to Jacksonville NC. He was like no other teen I have ever met. I still remember how on fire he was for Christ, and His love for the word of God. He became a Marine because he told his dad, "Those guys Need Jesus". He served in Iraq with no injuries, and finally came home to NC and got married. There is more to the story, a week before Buddy died, he felt led to be an organ donor, and at the time of his death, his organs directly saved the lives of four people, two of whom were Marines. He was married three weeks before he died, and his wife survived the crash. If that doesn't display the Sovereignty of Christ, and His perfect timing. I have used last Sundays sermon in a major way with those around me three times in two days - GOD IS SOVEREIGN, He is in control
