I often get asked, why does Mount Ararat preach and teach in series.  Just so we are on the same page.  Sometimes we teach through whole books, and other times we might teach through a topic or a principle.  However, we do like to teach with these things tied together, and here is why?

• Great reason to invite someone
• Helps you to know what next week will be
• Great for retension
• Serve as a mile markers (People often tell me when they started attending by the series!)
• Helps us organize teaching
• Helps us to package a big idea
• Chronologizes God’s movement
• It infuses momentum!

For example:

We will finish the summer with a series on the mission of our church, UP-N-OUT . 

This fall we will teach through the gospel of Mark, BRANDED.
