Monday morning after Under the Sun: Connecting to a life worth living, I was reading in Isaiah.  On Sunday, Solomon concluded that connecting to a life worth living was to:

1.) Fear God

2.) Obey God

Jesus has made a way for us to connect with God and to be able to obey His Word!

“A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a branch will bear fruit.  The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him–the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord–and he will delight in the fear of the Lord.” Isaiah 11:1-2

Jesus delights in the fear of the Lord.  We can also delight in the fear of the Lord!  Trusting, revering, and honoring God is an amazing life giving way to live.
