This past Sunday we continued Branded – What Marks You?  In Mark 10:17-31, Jesus encountered a young rich man who wanted eternal life.  He shoots straight, and Jesus shoots straight back with truth and love.

Jesus looked at him and loved him.  “One thing you lack,” he said, “Go sell everything you have and give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.  Then come follow me.” Mark 10:21

Jesus exposed this young rich man his barrier to life.  For him it was money. 

What is the one thing for you?

The rich young man walked away holding the wooden nickel.
