You don’t have to be a fan

January 8th, 2010 by Todd

Your don‘t have to love the Texas Longhorns or even football for that matter to appreciate the post game interview of Colt McCoy.  I have enjoyed watching him play this season, but what is most impressive is the way he spiritually carries himself, and the way he points to Jesus every opportunity he gets.  Check out this post game video, and the video he made for I am Second.  Be blessed.

COLT MCCOY POST GAME INTERVIEW

I AM SECOND

Just for the record, I am not a Texas Longhorn fan.  My wife went to A&M, and those two affections collide.  But I do love Jesus!

Thanks for posting this. Just imagine how many lives he will be able to touch when he gets to the “Me First” NFL.

This was an amazing video and the one’s that accompany it from Sam Bradford, Josh Hamilton (awesome testimony), and Brian Welch (former lead singer of Korn and meth addict) definitely give all the glory to God. Check them all out. The testimonies show the movement of the holy spirit in this world and that anyone can be saved if they just turn to the lord.

Pastor Todd, thank you for posting this!! My husband is a UT fan and I am an A&M fan and on that night I was rooting for Texas. My heart went out to Colt McCoy when he got injured but when I saw his interview at the end of the game my heart burst because of his testimony. It was so awesome to see him give God all the glory!! I was so overfilled with joy that I made my status on Facebook about the interview and him. He is a wonderful young man and even better witness for our Lord!!
