This past Sunday, God brought his favor upon Clayton King and Anthony Campbell.  We witnessed over 70 people receive Jesus as Lord.  That never gets old.  In the Bible, Paul writes about the role of spiritual giftedness in the church.  He references Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Shepherd (Pastor), Teacher.  We refer to this list as A.P.E.S.T.

The church in America has forgotten the A.P.E. (Apostle, Prophet, and Evangelist).  Most churches focus on the role of Pastor, Teacher.  The past two years, I have invited Clayton King to come to challenge our people as an Evangelist.  My prayer is that in everything we do: worship, small groups, and service that we do things in an evangelistic way, but praise God for the ones who have the gift of evangelism.  Clayton King is annointed by God with that gift. 

We get to experience the fullness of that blessing everytime he comes to share.  I thank God for my friendship and partnership I have with my friend Clayton.  We are a better church because of his service.  Be praying for our new brothers and sisters in Christ.  May God give us wisdom as we grow them up in their faith. 

I thank God that I get to continually be amazed in the power Jesus has upon a life.  God be glorified in us.
