Alright, let’s talk serious business. Who are you picking to be the best men’s college basketball team in the country. I know we have to get through championship weekend before the final brackets are assembled, but you are bound to have a favorite team. This past Saturday, I was invited to drive up to DC to watch Georgetown play Syracuse. I have to say I like watching the Hoyas play. I still have memories from the past with Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, and even Allen Iverson. Under the Thompson legacy, the Hoyas continue to compete at a high level.
I went to a small college in East Texas, Stephen F. Austin State University. Our claim to fame was our girls college basketball team – The Ladyjacks. However, during these past two seasons the men’s team has been competitive in the Southland Conference. Go Lumberjacks! They made it to the tournament last season, and it looks as if they will get in again this year. Come on cinderella!
So what teams are you favorites? Don’t be shy! This is just for fun, right!!!

Thanks for reminding the church of Daylight Savings time and to spring forward. Years when I was attending a church about the size of 150 people, I arrived a ½ hour early to help set up, and there was only one other family there before I arrived. They were pretty worried because they thought the rapture had occurred and they were left behind. I had to tell them it wasn’t the right time…yet!
I have to go with the mighty BADGERS from University of Wisconsin – Madison. I sort of have an allegiance since it is my alma mater. GO BUCKY GO!!
