I guess in this day and age, faith is a supernatural gift. With all of the distractions, political correctness and doubters it makes it presents difficulties in being open with your faith. I would hope that faith is one of the gifts that is given to every Christian.

Pastor Todd THANKS!
In the recent past at the Mount I was very blessed to have recieved a wonderful lady as mentor and friend. Your messages these past few Sundays have really spoken to me in terms of dicipleship, and mentoring. I am not a baby chrsitian, but one that sometimes allows life's busy-ness to trap me in a place where I can sometimes feel isolated in "things to do" in life and not being able to delegate time to properly study and read as I should. BUT RECENTLY..... I have been very diligent these past few weeks with my study and realizing that being bottle fed by you every Sunday has helped(!) I realize now as I should have on my own, that the only way to get the truth is to pray for understanding, continue to read and study on my own, and simply hear and do what God calls us to do! Thanks again Pastor, you are such a blessing to us at the Mount!

Thank you for this insight. I have always taught that each person needs three others in their lives; A Barnabas, a Paul and a Timothy. Barnabas was an encourager, a mentor who will take you under his wing and guide you through the landmines of life, sharing his successes and failures. Paul is a confident, an accountability partner who will answer the phone at 3 AM and pray with you. Timothy is a spiritual son who you can guide and lead sharing your successes and failures. ANd I tell them that if you do not have these people in your life, pray to God and He will provide. Thanks for showing me another way to express this Godly concept. God Bless your ministry of sharing and your life of loving.

Definitely a worthwhile goal: give more to God than the phone compan! It reminds me of the question in 11th grasses Bible class (yeah, I had Bible class in high school, cool huh?) the question was: what's God's phone number? The answer was 3-3-3, after Jeremiah 33:3, and 15 years later I added the rest of HIS contact information to the Address book on my phone, thanks for reminding me to share it on a late "Tuesday night w/Todd"

Add God to your contacts part 1: Jer. 33:3. His phone # is 333, had it long before area codes and prefix's. And He's the triune God, so what could be Morris appropriate than 3, 3's?

Add God to your contacts part 2:
God's e-mail: Mark 6:31 (NIV/NASB) Meet.wMe.alone@quietplace.hvn
You can spend time on-line with God having a Mark 6:31 morning -- 0631 is a good time to shoot a message down range, but we'll get to "God's best time to contact" later...

Add God to your contacts part 3:
God's physical address: Acts 7:49 (7x7) and Psalm 139:7 (9-3+1)...
7 Nowhere-to-distant Dr.
Everywhere, Heaven & Earth 77777 -
yeah it's a mystery... (and it's a mystery how my mind works too)

Add God to your contacts part 4: Now that you've saved His info you should also know when to contact Him... So the best time to reach Him is right now. Eph 6:18
The Father, Son, & Holy Spirit
