What is your excuse to not serve?
- I don’t have time.
- I don’t have experience.
- I don’t have interest.
- I have too many sins.
“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconcilation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:14-21
Who wins?
1. Have you?
- Received the gospel
- Become new
- Been made right
If you have been saved by love that is a WIN!
2. Will you?
- Share the gospel
- Help people become new
- Help people become right
If you are motivated by love and are serving others that is a WIN!
The win of serving :
1. Live for Jesus not yourself.
2. See people through grace not judgment
3. Present a picture of a restored life.
Who wins? Jesus wins!
“Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” 1John 5:5
“This how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words of tongue but with actions and truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence. 1John 3:16-19
Have you placed your faith in Jesus?
Do you worship?

Are you winning? Win (salvation), Win (Serving)
