Have you been reading the daily readings to prepare each Sunday for Glorious Unveiling? I know these readings have been a little different from the past few months readings, but what I want for you is to see the prophecy of Jesus.
God used prophecy to allow events of the past to build bridges to the future.
Do you realize that out of 2,500 prophecies in the Bible, 2,000 have come to pass?
Scriptural prophecy is not a prediction, it’s a promise. It’s a God-given revelation of things to come.
“Prophecy in Scripture serves as evidence proving that the Bible is truth that withstands the test of time. It has always been accurate and will always be. When prophecies that Scripture says will happen do, in fact, happen, they help us trust that the Word of God is infallible. Thus, we can trust that God himself is infallible.” David Nasser in Glory Revealed
We learn to trust scriptures when we see prophecy come to fruition.
So keep reading. And may it encourage you in what God has already done, and may it give you courage in the promises of what God will do.

As we continue our series, Glorious Unveiling I wanted to share a quote with you.
“Worship is a meeting between God and his people when the worshiper is brought into personal contact with the one who gives meaning and purpose to life; from this encounter the worshiper receives strength and courage to live with hope in a fallen world.” Robert Webber

Pastor Micah shared Sunday that it is tempting to contain worship. What are the ways we tend to contain worship?
1. To a song or music
2. To a style of music
3. To a worship service
4. To time and space
5. To a feeling
Have you been guilty?
“The sheepherders returned and let loose, glorifying and praising God for everything they had heard and seen. It turned out exactly they way they’d been told.” Luke 2:20

Worshipping with us on Sundays is a great place to start. Let me also encourage you to connect with a small group which can be instrumental in making new friends and developing your faith. These classes meet during all three worship hours at the Mount.
On your next visit, be sure to take advantage of all the great opportunities you will find at the Mount for you and your family to grow spiritually.
I hope to see you soon at the Mount!
